30ml (2 tbsp) brown sugar
10ml (2 tsp) smoked paprika
10ml (2 tsp) ground fennel
10ml (2 tsp) garlic powder
10ml (2 tsp) onion powder
5ml (1 tsp) ground black pepper
zest of Ā½ lemonĀ
1 rack (500g) pork ribs
125ml (Ā½ cup) red wine
125ml (Ā½ cup) beef stock
125ml (Ā½ cup) MannaBrew Superfood Espresso, strong brewed
1 (100g) medium onion, chopped
1 (100g) medium carrot, chopped
3 garlic cloves, chopped
4 sprigs thyme
125ml (Ā½ cup) tomato puree
250ml (1 cup) MannaBrew Superfood Espresso, strong brewed
60ml (Ā¼ cup) brown sugar
60ml (Ā¼ cup) apple cider vinegar
30ml (2 tbsp) honey
10ml (2 tsp) Worcestershire sauce
2 cloves garlic finely chopped
5ml (1 tsp) salt
5ml (1 tsp) ground black pepper
5ml (1 tsp) onion powder
5ml (1 tsp) garlic powder
5ml (1 tsp) mustard powder
5ml (1 tsp) cayenne pepperĀ
TIP: Instead of grilling the ribs, brush them with the marinade and cook them over medium heat on the braai for 4-5 minutes per side until lightly charred.
