South African-Style MannaBrew “Coffee” Recipe

Brew Time: 5–10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 4 heaped teaspoons MannaBrew grounds (or 1 MannaBrew sachets)
- 2 cups water
- ½ cup full-cream milk (or oat/almond milk for dairy-free)
- 1 cinnamon stick (or ¼ tsp ground cinnamon)
- 1–2 teaspoons brown sugar or raw honey (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Brewing Method:
- Boil the water in a small pot or kettle.
- Add MannaBrew to a French press, plunger, or small pot. Pour over the boiling water.
- Let it steep for 5–10 minutes (the longer it steeps, the richer the flavor). If using a pot, gently simmer for 5 minutes and strain.
- While it brews, heat the milk in a separate saucepan with the cinnamon stick. Stir gently and remove from heat just before boiling.
- Remove the cinnamon stick, then stir in sugar (or honey), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the milk.
- Pour the brewed MannaBrew into your favorite mugs, filling each halfway.
- Top up with spiced milk mixture and stir gently.
