MannaBrew Mocha Hot Chocolate

A guilt-free, warming blend of cocoa and mesquite that satisfies chocolate cravings without excess sugar or caffeine.
Ingredients:
- 2 tablespoons MannaBrew grounds
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- ½ cup milk or dairy-free milk (almond, oat, or coconut work well)
- 1–2 teaspoons honey, maple syrup, or coconut sugar (adjust to taste)
- ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional, for extra depth of flavour)
- Pinch of ground cinnamon (optional)
- Dark chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
1. Brew the MannaBrew:

- Brew the MannaBrew grounds with hot water using your preferred method (French press or pour-over). Let it steep for at least 5 minutes to extract a robust flavour.
2. Prepare the Cocoa Base:
- In a small saucepan, whisk together the cocoa powder and milk over medium heat until smooth and steaming — do not let it boil.
3. Sweeten & Flavour:

- Stir in your choice of sweetener and vanilla extract (if using). Add a pinch of cinnamon for a warming winter twist.
4. Combine:
- Pour the brewed MannaBrew into a large mug. Top it with the hot cocoa milk mixture and stir gently to blend.
5. Garnish:
- Sprinkle with dark chocolate shavings or a dusting of cocoa powder for an indulgent finish.
6. Serve:
- Sip slowly and enjoy this comforting drink while wrapped in your favourite blanket on a chilly evening.
