MannaBrew Mexican Coffee

MannaBrew Mexican Coffee

This is a warm, spiced chocolate coffee-style drink made with MannaBrew — a roasted mesquite seedpod superfood brew. It has natural nutty, caramel, and chocolate undertones that pair perfectly with cinnamon, cocoa, and a touch of heat. The result is rich, cozy, and caffeine-free, with low acidity and built-in subtle sweetness that lets you use less added sugar.

Ingredients

  • 6–8 oz hot brewed MannaBrew (stronger than regular coffee — see brewing notes below)
  • 1–2 teaspoons brown sugar or piloncillo (start low and adjust; MannaBrew is naturally mildly sweet)
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste for gentle heat)
  • ¼ cup milk (dairy, oat, almond, or coconut — all work well)
  • Whipped cream or frothed milk for topping (optional)
  • Optional extras: pinch of nutmeg or a drop of vanilla for extra warmth

Instructions

Brew your strong MannaBrew and keep it hot.

In a jar or small bowl, combine the brown sugar, cocoa powder, cinnamon, cayenne, and milk. Shake or whisk vigorously until smooth and lump-free (the heat from the milk helps dissolve everything).

Pour the spiced milk mixture into your mug.

Add the hot brewed MannaBrew and stir well.

Top with whipped cream (or frothed milk) and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon or cocoa if desired. Sip immediately!
