How to Brew MannaBrew

Prepared like coffee

Try our delicious coffee alternative with a bit of milk or cream for a truly yummy drink, or take it black for a more coffee-like experience.

One box of MannaBrew can make up to 28 cups and is double the strength of regular coffee! So use half of what you would normally use when making coffee.

Espresso
Put 1 level scoop of MannaBrew (8 grams) into the portafilter, spread grounds evenly, and extract 30ml espresso as normal. (Not recommended for bean to cup machines).

Moka Pot
Fill basket halfway with MannaBrew, place on medium-high heat, and allow to percolate.

French Press
Use 1 level scoop of MannaBrew (8 grams) per 250ml cup of water. Stir through gently. Allow to brew for 4 minutes before plunging.

Filter
Use 1 level scoop of MannaBrew (8 grams) per 250ml cup of water.

Espresso
Fill portafilter basket halfway, tamp down lightly, and extract espresso as normal. (Not for use in automatic machines).

Moka Pot
Fill basket halfway, place on medium-high heat, and allow to percolate.

French Press
Use 1-3 heaped teaspoons per cup. (According to desired strength).

  1. These are the golden standard measurements for MannaBrew Superfood Espresso. It does not mean this is the only way to brew MannaBrew, but the starting point and guidelines for doing so.
  2. Not all coffee-making devices are the same, nor is personal taste, so it is recommended that you experiment around the given perimeters to find a ratio perfect for your own device and taste.
  3. We encourage you to experiment with the strength, brewing methods, and styles of drinking (Espresso, Americano, Cappuccino, etc.) that you might not do with regular coffee, as MannaBrew has unique tastes and flavours that may be discovered by doing this.
